This year seven planets will be in alignment – Saturn, Mercury, Neptune, Venus, Uranus, Jupiter and Mars in the Parade of Planets – all those planets line up, one right next to the other.
Can you imagine the planning that went into getting that organized? “Saturn, stop looking at yourself, you are beautiful – get back in line” and “Mars, stop talking to Venus, I know it has been a long time!”
Add to this a new moon, which is a shadowed, and will reduce light pollution in the sky and make Neptune, Uranus and Saturn easier to spot.
And just like that, a Meteor shower arrives thinking they too are part of the parade….
